Wood Cut & Print Exhibition

Woodblock printing has a long history. Although it is no longer widely used for commercial mass printing, it remains a significant medium in many art creations. Each stroke and carving brings to life images envisioned in the mind, conveying an organic, tactile quality and layers of emotion that digital imagery cannot replicate. This meticulous craftsmanship infuses warmth into the artwork. While the visuals often depict a world of stark black and white, the emotions conveyed are boundless.

This exhibition will feature the woodblock printing process, showcasing the organic texture, tactile quality, and warmth of the medium through the bird-themed woodblock prints by artist He Hua-ren, inviting viewers to appreciate the artist’s carefully cultivated, deeply resonant emotions.
